Liudmila Kharitonova is a Russian viola player currently living and working in Vienna, Austria. She has completed her degree at Moscow State Classical Academy named by Maimonides and violin and viola as a second major instrument degrees at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. She has been a scholarship holder from various international music courses and seminars, such as Chamber Music Seminar at Stanford, California, Viola Congress in Wellington, New Zealand, Open Chamber Music sessions at IMS Prussia Cove and many others. She has appeared as a chamber and orchestra musician with such ensembles as Die Reihe, Ensemble Kontrapunkte, Haydn Philharmonie, and currently has a temporary contract with the orchestra of Volksoper Wien.
